User Journey

Action: Design System and Dashboard.
It was time to prototype the Dashboard that would be shared by four different usage profiles.
It's worth noting that a Design System already existed. Even though the VisionPLUS system was built from scratch, there were 50 other projects across different products at Fiserv, all of which already used the existing Design System. There was also an internal team at the Try consultancy dedicated to maintaining this system.

Key Learnings
- Collaboration in a large UX team
I learned to work collaboratively within a large UX team — asking for feedback, presenting work in critiques, and evolving designs through exchanges with other designers.
- Cross-cultural communication
I gained valuable experience working on a multicultural team of over 60 people, including professionals from Mexico, India, and the United States. I had to justify design decisions to a wide range of stakeholders: QAs, developers, PMs, POs, BAs, and Scrum Masters.
- Conflict management and negotiation
One of the most valuable lessons was learning to balance diverging perspectives from leadership. I often found myself caught between conflicting opinions from the UX Lead and the PM. Navigating these disagreements required diplomacy, negotiation, and the ability to reach a middle ground that worked for both sides.
